INSPIRE
Step 2 | Knowledge scanning
Found some Good Stuff? Now What?
When you find something interesting and relevant to your challenge, capture the most important point on a slide in your team’s designated shared, online Knowledge Repository.
Add quotes, images, charts, infographics, or other visuals to emphasize your point – or attract readers to the slide.
Remember to surface key information, use pictures and images, and don’t forget to note the source of your information.
Deliverables
Each Team is responsible for creating at least 5 Knowledge Scan slides with insights on your team’s designated scan category.
Slides will be presented at the final Share Learning Webinar/Meeting, and will be displayed on a Gallery Wall during the Design session in the next phase of the journey.
Where to find information to build knowledge scan slides:
- Google search
- Innovative blogs
- Professional organization websites
- Thought leader websites
- Interview successful people you know
- Relevant conferences: interview speakers / ask for speaker notes
- Specific Chapters in top books
- LinkedIn forums and groups
- Twitter hashtags
- Photographs
In each place, look for innovations, success stories and lessons learned.
